he Friends of Highland Recreation Area have created a Commemorative Brick Circle at the Haven Hill Conversation Ring in Highland State Recreation Area. The site is on the grounds of the Haven Hill Gatehouse, which was the former entrance to Edsel and Eleanor Ford’s historic estate. The peaceful garden location is ideal for quiet personal reflection and thoughts of loved ones.

Redbud is a day of outdoor enjoyment in the Haven Hill section of Highland State Recreation Area in Michigan. Visitors are encouraged to come and see the beautiful and historic Haven Hill section of the Highland State Recreation Area which includes the new Cedar Creek trail, the historic Haven Hill Gatehouse, the Edsel Ford Barn, the picturesque Carriage House, and the Haven Hill Lodge footprint up on Haven Hill. Come on out and join area residents to see if the beautiful redbuds are in bloom at Haven Hill!

Commemorative Brick Pavers at Haven Hill in Highland Recreation Area - Spring Sale Order Now

Create a long-lasting tribute to a friend, family member, or a beloved pet with an engraved brick paver permanently installed nearby the historic Haven Hill Gatehouse at Highland State Recreation Area. The Friends of Highland Recreation Area will be doing a brick installation in late April/early May. Orders received by March 25 to be installed later this spring.

Enjoy the Haven Hill Festival at Highland State Recreation Area this coming Saturday, August 28. Enter the park at any time during the day and enjoy the Festival from 10 am to 3:00 pm.

Come to visit the Park with your Recreation Passport to enjoy free entry for the day. The Festival activities in the Park are totally free of charge after you enter.

See great natural and historical locations in the Park and enjoy it all with your family as an experience of local history. Henry Ford's son Edsel and his family created an amazing country estate at Haven Hill many years ago, and the history remains to be shared.

Get a great Recreation Passport for all Michigan State Parks and boats ramps for the year at the park entrance if you don't have one already. Bring the entire family!

Go to the Antiques and Collectibles Sale at the Edsel Ford Barn, and also head to Goose Meadow to see Vintage Ford Model A cars, a Vintage Base Ball Game at the ball field starting at 10 am. Get some fundraiser hot dogs, chips, popcorn, ice cream for sale too. Enjoy some live old-time music during the game and have a great day at the Park... A LIVE brass band will play during the old time vintage base ball game!

The Haven Hill historic structures of the Ford era will be open for public viewing during the day. Come and see an AMAZING detailed 3D model of the Ford's former Haven Hill Lodge that will be on display at the Haven Hill Gatehouse near the entrance to the Park!
