FOHRA to Start Edsel Ford Barn Rebuild Sunday!

The Friends will be gathering at the Edsel Ford Barn in Highland State Recreation Area on Sunday, February 12, at 9:00 am. The Work Day will start at 9:00 am and typically wraps up after 3:00 pm.  An informal lunch snack will be served midday.

This will be the starting day of major reconstruction of the historic Edsel Ford Barn after several years of clean-up in the aftermath of the June 2008 storm. If you are interested in helping out, wear warm clothes (forecasted high temperature for Sunday = 26 degrees, low 16!), good boots, and if you have tools bring a framing hammer. Dress overly warm so that you'll be comfortable - as they say - you can always take off layers if you're too hot!
