Reminder: Haven Hill Memorial Bricks Available for Spring

As Michiganders we know we are not out of the winter woods yet, but the extra days of sunshine lately have certainly reminded us of what season is coming.

At FOHRA we have to plan for spring regardless if it really shows up this March or not until May.

Therefore, we would like to remind you that if you would like to honor or memorialize a relative or friend or even a pet by having an engraved brick placed in our special Conversation Circle on the lawn of the former Edsel Ford Gate House, that we need your order by April 1.

Go to our website fohravolunteers.org/bricks for more information and an order form. If you have ordered before, thank you again, and if not please consider doing so.

The Friends of Highland Recreation Area (FOHRA) volunteer organization was established in 2007, and is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt non-profit organization operating under lease agreement with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Within one of the most picturesque, fascinating, and historically significant state parks in southeast lower Michigan, our goal is to combine the former Haven Hill estate history with Highland Recreation Area’s existing amenities, wilderness, and recreation.
