Haven Hill Commemorative Bricks Available for Your Cherished Loved Ones in Spring

Honor and memorialize a relative, friend, or even a beloved pet by dedicating an engraved brick paver with your chosen wording into the special conversation circle on the beautiful grounds of Edsel and Eleanor Ford’s former Haven Hill Estate Gatehouse. The peaceful garden location in Michigan’s Highland State Recreation Area is ideal for quiet personal reflection and thoughts of loved ones.

Spring is arriving soon, and the beginning of the new season also marks an opportunity to order these engraved commemorative bricks for installation. The current ordering cut-off date is March 21, and the installation timeframe is planned for early May.

For a $60 donation, your brick paver will be engraved on a 4”x8” paver with three lines of personalized text. Special graphic art symbols are also available to add for an additional $5. An order form and symbol examples can be found on the Friends of Highland Recreation Area website at: www.fohravolunteers.org/bricks.

All proceeds from the brick sales donations will be used to support the continuing efforts of the Friends of Highland Recreation Area to renovate, repurpose, and maintain the Haven Hill buildings and grounds and to maintain the Commemorative Brick Circle.

Please contact us at (248) 494-8919 or email fohravolunteers@gmail.com with any questions.

The members of the Friends of Highland Recreation Area wish to thank you for your generous support, and for you to have a wonderful spring season!

The Friends of Highland Recreation Area (FOHRA) volunteer organization was established in 2007, and is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt non-profit organization operating under lease agreement with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Within one of the most picturesque, fascinating, and historically significant state parks in southeast lower Michigan, our goal is to combine the former Haven Hill estate history with Highland Recreation Area’s existing amenities, wilderness, and recreation.
