Order Yours Now... Late Summer Brick Paver Installation for September 28 Haven Hill Festival

This is a reminder to place your orders before August 15th to have your family, friend, or beloved pet’s commemorative paver installed before the September 28 Haven Hill Festival event. www.fohravolunteers.org/bricks

The Friends of Highland Recreation Area will be doing an end-of-summer installation of Commemorative Brick Pavers in the growing circle at the Haven Hill Gatehouse in the days prior to the annual Haven Hill Festival event on September 28, 2024. Create a long-lasting tribute to a friend, family member, or a beloved pet with an engraved brick paver permanently installed in front of the historic Haven Hill Gatehouse at Highland State Recreation Area. Orders are being taken now for the next installation.

The site of the Commemorative ring is on the grounds of the Haven Hill Gatehouse, which was the former entrance to Edsel and Eleanor Ford’s historic estate. The peaceful garden location is ideal for quiet personal reflection and thoughts of loved ones. Your chosen wording will be engraved on a personalized brick paver that will become a permanent part of Haven Hill’s rich history.

For a donation of $60.00 your brick will be a wonderful and unique gift and lasting legacy. Bricks are 4”x 8” and can be engraved with 3 lines with up to sixteen letters and spaces per line (content is subject to approval). Some special symbols are available, so if you would like a heart or cross or something else, please consult with us.

All proceeds from the brick sales will be used to support the ongoing efforts of the Friends of Highland Recreation Area to renovate and repurpose the historic Ford buildings and to maintain the commemorative brick circle and grounds and perform public events. Donations are tax deductible. Complete and mail your application form, available at the FOHRA website www.fohravolunteers.org/bricks, and include a check or money order payable to Friends of Highland Recreation Area.

Additional Questions? Email the Friends at fohravolunteers@gmail.com.

Please place orders prior to August 15 to help us get them in place before the September 28 Haven Hill Festival for you to enjoy that day.

Thank You Sincerely,

Friends of Highland Recreation Area
