There's Still Time for Your Spring Memorial Brick at Haven Hill

There is still time to get your engraved brick made for Spring 2020 at Haven Hill!

As many of you know, the Friends of Highland Recreation Area have a beautiful location for you to honor or memorialize a relative, special friend, family member, or beloved pet in the lawn/garden area of the former Edsel Ford Haven Hill Gatehouse at Highland State Recreation Area. Brick orders need to be placed by April 1st if you want to have one or more installed by May 9, 2020 in time for Spring. Orders placed after April 1 will have to wait for our late summer/early Fall installation.

The Friends of Highland Recreation Area (FOHRA) volunteer organization was established in 2007, and is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt non-profit organization operating under lease agreement with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Within one of the most picturesque, fascinating, and historically significant state parks in southeast lower Michigan, our goal is to combine the former Haven Hill estate history with Highland Recreation Area’s existing amenities, wilderness, and recreation.
